Hello!

My name is Jade Mycelia and I am a self-taught licensed machine-free tattoo artist at Jackalope Tattoo in Minneapoilis, MN.

My passions include community organizing, any and all animals but especially that of the feline variety, and expanding my own consciousness to become a healthy and empathetic human being.

My tattoo practice is plant medicine informed and embraces the ritual of tattoo. I enjoy creating ornamental dotwork and nature-inspired designs that blend intricate patterns with organic elements. My work often draws from the delicate symmetry of mandalas, the flowing forms of botanical motifs, and the subtle textures found in natural landscapes. I strive to capture a sense of harmony and detail, whether through fine line work, bold adornment, stippling, or abstract interpretations of nature’s beauty.

For me, tattooing is a meditative practice. A focused flow state built from shared presence, patience, and intention. Each dot a devotion to craft and stillness. All of my designs are handpoked, meaning there is an organic flow rather than pristine symmetry. This approach challenges my perfectionist nature and allows me to find beauty in the elegance of “imperfection.”
