Policy
Important Update
As of January 2022, Feral Tattoo Collective is requiring all clients to be fully vaccinated and to have received a booster shot no sooner than 14 days prior to their appointment.
Why are there so many rules?
The staff at Feral Tattoo Collective are disabled and/or immunocompromised, and COVID is still present. Please help us stay as safe as possible by adhering to these guidelines, or waiting to request an appointment.
Testing and/or Quarantining
Although the government at local and federal levels are not discouraging folks from dining or gathering indoors, we ask that in the 14 days leading up to your appointment you limit these activities.
Taking an at-home rapid test 15-30 minutes before you leave for your appointment is greatly appreciated. If you're unable to test before your appointment, getting a PCR test soon after your appointment is highly recommended.
Exposures happen
I take my safety and the safety of my clients very seriously. If you find you were possibly exposed within 14 days of your appointment, please let me know.
Because of how many folks I come into contact during my work, it isn't unlikely that I will need to postpone our appointment due to exposure. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
Feeling unwell in the 2 weeks prior to your appointment...
We both reserve the right to postpone the appointment or cancel it (please note the deposit is non-refundable) if we begin feeling even the slightest bit sick in the 14 days leading up to our appointment. Please make yourself aware of my cancellation policy, and email me with any questions you might have.
Illness sounds like:
• Sore throat
• Shortness of breath
• Aches, chills or fever
• A cough or tickling in the throat
• Sneezing, tickling or runny nose
• Unusually fatigued or experiencing new fogginess
Keeping in touch following your appointment
If after your appointment you discover you had an exposure to COVID 19 or someone showing COVID 19 symptoms (see above) within the two weeks before you came into your appointment, please email me immediately so that i can take precautions.
KN95 and N95 masks are to be worn at all times...
Clients and artists are required to wear KN95 masks in the studio. If you need to drink water or eat a snack, please go in the hallway to do so. Masks must stay on at all times while in the studio.
If you do not have a KN95 or an N95 when you arrive for your appointment, one will be supplied for you. FDA approved KN95 masks are sufficient if the fit is tight. Layer a surgical mask underneath if the fit isn’t perfect. NIOSH approved N95 masks WITHOUT valves are considered the gold standard. These must be fit-tested in order to be effective. They can be pricy/hard to come by. not required, but of course welcomed.
Ensure a good fit. Any mask should go over the bridge of the nose, below the chin, and be resting flush on your face.
No other guests
At this time, you are required to come to your appointment alone unless your disability(ies) require an interpreter or aid (human or four-legged). Please let me know so we can prepare the studio for them to join us if this is the case!
